Kino Yagami was obsessed with the concept of recreating memories. He designed a device that could capture a memory by dissolving a photographic image with the process of liquification. The fluid would then be injected into the bloodstream where it would travel to the brain and settle in the hippocampus, allowing users to absorb and recall these memories as their own. Unfortunately, the experimental device was never patented as Kino tragically succumbed to celluloid poisoning.
